My name is Veronica Caez and I am from Carolina, Puerto Rico. I came to the USA when I was 19 years of age, currently residing in the City of Newark, New Jersey and the owner and founder of All Graphic Designs, LLC at 685 Passaic Avenue, Nutley, NJ. Full of passion and determination, I have practiced visual communications and design for over 11 years and opened my first business in graphic designing when I was 28-years-old. Being a single mother of two beautiful children, Auriemar I. Negron and Dylan A. Negron, I’ve grown to become strong and independent in order to reach my goals. My kids are my everything, their happiness and safety give me the push I need everyday to keep moving forward.
I developed a solid work ethic from a very young age, always looking towards a brighter future and willing to put forward the effort required to achieve it. When I was 14-years-old, I got my first job at Verpas Product, Inc., a specialty chemical and cleaning products company, earning $3.00 an hour. At the age of 15, I attended vocational courses while attending high school in Puerto Rico. My mother was an accountant for Verpas Product, which meant I spent a lot of my free time after school and in the summer with the company, helping and volunteering at the factory. I’ve always felt compelled to help others and always prided myself in my ability to do so, especially at a very young age. This grew to be an affectionate passion of mine, I feel in my heart that serving and caring for others should be a significant part of our lives.
Later in adolescence, I graduated from Carlos F. Daniels Vocational School with a certification in business administration and the introductions of accounting. This led me to take up bigger fish and, when I was about to graduate, I also completed my internship in business while working for JCTV Electronics Inc., whereafter the company decided to hire me. I worked in the customer service and payroll department for 5 years. At 17, I applied and was accepted at Colegio Universitario del Este in order to advance my studies and there I completed almost 3 years of accounting. Adding to my list of skills, I became certified as a medical office clerk and am also certified in medical coding, animation design, gaming design, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premier Pro.
Throughout my life, I’ve had so many opportunities to work closely with so many great companies and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know so many wonderful people that have lent me a hand, to which I was grateful to return the favor. Some of my previous employers and duties have included;
• Lincare, Inc - Collections
• Niagara Family Health Center - Medical Coding ICD-9 and CPT book
• Novartis Federal Credit Union - Electronic Service Representative and ATM
Settlements/Maintenance
• City of Newark - North Ward Legislative Aide to (by that time) Councilman-At-Large Ras J.
Baraka - (This position as a legislative aide was one I thoroughly
enjoyed. I was organizing meetings to improve and adjust the quality of life of the residents
and address their concerns. This meant I was meeting with
them one-on-one and guiding them to different resources in the city of Newark, including
helping them with their resumes and with finding employment.
I also volunteered many hours for city events and did a lot of campaigning.)
• Essex County Welfare Department- Clerk and Record Rooms
• Printing Delite, Inc. - Clerk & Graphic Designer
• Graphic Designs All in 1, LLC - Owner and Graphic Designer
• All Graphic Designs, LLC - Owner and Graphic Designer
VOLUNTEER WORK

fundraising activities and executed Newark North Ward election activities.
• I’ve done and still actively do community service, providing food for the homeless, donating clothes, coats, water and food, and helping in the case
of natural disasters. I’ve also participated and donated my time by doing all the previous activities, including cleaning streets and parks with other
organizations and local churches, like Northward Academy with Marcos Sanchez President, El Rey Jesus Church in Morristown, City of Newark with
Carlos Cruz, Liga Roberto Clemente and “Mision Amor” with International Ministries Jesus is the King, working closely with Pastors Juan y Ana Bolaños.
• Organizer of La Voz Latina and Meritorious Dominican Awards with Anibal J. Alcantara, volunteered with other organizations like El Instituto
Duartiano de Newark with Santiago Paniagua and Desfile y Festival Cultural Dominicano del Condado de Essex County with Glenis Mojica. I pride
myself on being very active in the community, motivated through the strong belief that everyone deserves a chance to start over.
I am very proud of myself but am always humbled, I’ve had so many people that helped me achieve my dreams and reach my career opportunities. I can proudly say that my mentors have been and still are my mother, Wanda I. Rosa, my step-father, Benjamin Pizarro, my little sister, Hillary Pizarro, my best friend and practically my sister, Karen Morales, my partner, Edwin Williams, and of course and always, my kids. I also could never fail to mention others like Ralph Velez, the owner of Queens Realty, Felipe Gomez, owner of Printing Delite, Inc., and an extremely extraordinary person that kept pushing me and helping me through counseling and countless business advices, he guided me through my process of becoming a business owner from A to Z, Mr. Anibal J. Alcantara, Jr, owner of Solutions for Success, Casa Quisqueya, and Solutions Multi Service Center, LLC.
“I am a strong woman. I don’t sit around feeling sorry for myself, nor let people mistreat me. I don’t respond to people who dictate to me or try to bring me down. If I fall I will rise up even stronger because I am survivor and not a victim. I am in control of my life and there is nothing I can’t achieve.” (By Alpha Wiser)
